At Diamond State Counseling, we find a combination of therapy and medication to be a suitable treatment for depression and anxiety in adults. Various forms of therapy can include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, and problem-solving therapy. Medication needs will vary from patient to patient, depending on the severity of the disorder.

Our psychiatry team will conduct an in-depth evaluation and create a treatment plan that may include a choice of medications. We then follow up with medication management sessions to monitor the benefits and possible side effects of each medication. At these visits, we may adjust doses or make changes in medications until we find the most effective result.
