I have always had a passion for helping people find their voice and inner strengths. My approach to therapy looks at the whole person in regards to their physical, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual selves. Specifically, I practice a strengths-based and mindfulness approach with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy.
My journey to becoming a therapist has not been typical. I graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and went on to Villanova Law School where I received my JD in 1998. After practicing law for a number of years, I decided that it was time to pursue my dream of becoming a therapist. I received my master’s degree in social work from Bryn Mawr College and have worked as an inpatient therapist at Rockford Center and a therapist in private practice.
