Approach & What to Expect

Mykhia is committed to providing a positive and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe exploring their experiences, emotions, and challenges. She recognizes that growth and success can look different for every person, and she works collaboratively with clients to identify goals that feel meaningful to them.

Her therapeutic approach may incorporate:

  • Strengths Based Therapy: Helping clients recognize and build upon the strengths, abilities, and resources they already possess.

  • Motivational Interviewing: Supporting clients as they explore their goals, strengthen motivation, and build confidence in their ability to create change.

  • Person Centered Therapy: Providing a compassionate and accepting space that respects each client’s experiences, needs, and definition of success.

Clients can expect Mykhia to meet them with encouragement, respect, and compassion. She works alongside each individual to develop greater self awareness, navigate challenges, and recognize their capacity for healing and growth. Her goal is to help clients feel empowered to become the best version of themselves, however they choose to define it.
