Mykhia Odom, LMSW

Biography

Mykhia earned both her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work from West Chester University. With a diverse background in the field, she has extensive experience working with women, children, the adoption triad, domestic violence survivors, substance use/abuse issues, and juvenile probation. Mykhia earned her LMSW in November 2021 and is currently working toward her LCSW.
 

She specializes in anxiety, depression, grief, personal development, and post-adoption support, tailoring her therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client. She frequently utilizes Strengths-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients gain confidence, resilience, and a sense of empowerment in their lives.
 

As a therapist, Mykhia is committed to providing a positive and supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their challenges. Her goal is to help individuals grow, heal, and become the best version of themselves, however, they define success.
