Eric Johnsen, LPCMH

Biography

Eric is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health in Delaware. He earned his Master’s degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from La Salle University and has a diverse background in case management, recovery management, therapeutic support services, and individual, couple, and family therapy. He has extensive experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and crisis counseling and is dedicated to providing the best possible support for his clients.
 

Eric specializes in substance use, anger management, couples counseling, grief, and trauma. His therapeutic approach integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy, helping clients understand how their thoughts impact their emotions and behaviors. He focuses on skill-building, fostering trust and rapport, and guiding clients through deeper self-exploration.
 

Believing in a collaborative and holistic approach, Eric works closely with his clients to build long-term coping strategies, promote emotional well-being, and increase overall success in their personal and relational lives.
