Biography
Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health and a Nationally Certified Counselor who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and life adjustments. She has been in the mental health field since 2016, with a background in the Department of Corrections, where she developed extensive experience working with individuals navigating high-stress environments, complex emotional challenges and significant life transitions.
As the supervisor for all counselors at Diamond State Counseling, Amanda provides leadership and clinical guidance to ensure comprehensive and effective care for clients.
Amanda takes a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and humanistic practices. She values creating a calm, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered to explore their emotions, build insight and move toward meaningful change.
