Amanda Gerrick, LPCMH
Clinical Supervisor

Biography

Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wilmington University and undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Towson University.

As the supervisor for all counselors at Diamond State Counseling, Amanda provides leadership and clinical guidance to ensure comprehensive and effective care for clients.

​

Amanda has been working in the mental health field since 2016, primarily in the Department of Corrections. She has extensive experience working with adults managing complex trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, anger, grief, post-traumatic stress, and substance use.

​

Amanda utilizes Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral, and Dialectical approaches with a variety of interventions tailored to each client’s needs. She works to provide her clients with a safe environment where they can express and feel their emotions fluidly
